Inman Family

Wesley & I met Craig, Carolyn, & Madison at Strikers Winery in Athens on Saturday. The whole day was set up by Jessica (Wesley's cousin's wife)--she lined up three families to meet us for pictures. What a great cousin, huh?! The Inmans were the first ones of the day and the sun was SO bright. I was very nervous about how things were going to work out, but I am INCREDIBLY pleased with the results.
Inman Family, thanks so much for being patient with us as Welsey & I explored for a few minutes since we'd never been there before and for being our guinea pigs! I can't wait for you to see your slideshow and all of your images. Here's your sneak peek!

This is my all-time favorite of our session! Pretty good for sitting on a pokey wooden seat for 30 seconds, don't you think Miss Madison?!

Ryder Luke & Aprilia (And Ryder's Mom & Dad!)

Ryder's Mommy & Daddy are our best friends. We are so glad that Mr. Ryder is finally here safe and sound and were so excited to get to spend the day with them about a week ago. Ryder and Aprilia (pronounced A-pril-ya) the dog were wonderful sports about having a photo shoot. I think it would be safe to say that we had a fun/eventful/interesting time trying to pose a month old baby and a dog! It worked though!
Cody & Kristy, thank you SO much for hanging out with us for the day and letting me photograph your family. We miss you so much and can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!

Ryder's "Papa Bear" (Cody's dad) painted this awesome coconut tree on the wall to go with the pirate theme. And the parrot talks!!
Ryder has polite, kind, mannerly pirates decorating his room.

I think we were doing pretty good for Ryder to be licked only once. Aprilia wanted to kiss him SO badly!

She sneaked it in this one time and licked as fast as she could. It was almost like she knew we were going to stop her so she had to get as many licks in as she could!

The Johnson Girls & Mr. Thomas

Last Friday I got to play with a bunch of girls and their cousin, a sweet boy named Thomas, at Oaklands Mansion in Murfreesboro. You'll remember these girls from our spring session and the Easter lamb pictures. Alicia is the literacy coordinator at my old school and I miss her SO much--and I miss seeing these girls. Sweet Makenzie is in my friend Anna's class-they are growing so fast. It was hard getting a group shot with 3 little bitty ones. Poor Macey & Makenzie were so good at smiling and waiting for the other three to take some interest in the camera! They did such a great job.

The only way we could get all of the girls on the blanket at the same time was to convince McKenna that Momma needed to kiss her feet!

Cute little Makenzie

We got some really beautiful shots of Macey.

Good ol' Mr. Thomas who was not the least bit interested in being out of Mommy's hands. So, we took these while he sat on the edge of her knees and he was as happy as could be!

McKenna was all about wearing the big girls' shoes. She wore Alicia's or Macey's the whole time and kept saying, "My shoes, my shoes."

This may be my favorite one of the day.

Madison's faces crack me up. She's such a doll-either super serious or a huge smile.

Right at the end Makenzie put this chair up and put the pumpkins around her and said, "Momma, someone could sit in the chair and take a picture." When I went to take her picture she said, "I don't know how I come up with these things." We may have a future photographer on our hands. :)

We ended with a little game of Duck, Duck, Goose.

Thanks for hanging up with me! Enjoy your slideshow.

Ryder & Aprilia's Sneak Peek

Saturday was such a fun day! We got to spend it with our dear friends Cody, Kristy, Ryder & Aprilia. You remember Aprilia from her baby gift thank you pictures. I think Aprilia and the stroller was HILARIOUS! Click here to see them again. We had more fun with Aprilia, only this time Ryder was there too! Here's a sneak peek of what we did Saturday.
While Ryder was eating before his photo shoot, we saw even more how talented Aprilia really is (the first picture is a toothpick)! More to come!

I'm Lovin' Aunthood

Being an aunt has got to be the greatest thing ever.....at least the greatest thing ever yet for me. I was editing a few pictures from the last time we were visiting sweet Maggie. Her expression in these just crack me up. I had to share. Isn't she precious?!

Maggie's Nana got her the "If the Tiara fits" shirt. Luckily we got pictures of her wearing the shirt because it was fitting a little tight and that will probably be the only time she wears it!

You may notice my shorter hair. When we were in Cleveland, I went to the wonderful and amazing Amy at Salon V. She's a good friend of our family and a great hair girl; if you need one--give her a call. She cut 8 inches off-which I donated to Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths and then chopped some more to style it. **My wonderful friend Anna referred me to the Pantene donation after she did it this summer.** If you are interested in donating your hair (or know someone who is), check out their site. I liked that they only require 8 inches--10 would have been TOO much for me. Enjoy pics from the whole hair cutting event from my Facebook album, here.

**Edited to add the ** sentence!**
