Baby Isaac

Today I had the honor of photographing Little Mr. Isaac. He is 3 months old and adorable! Jake & Gina are good friends of ours. Jake & I grew up together at Old Union and graduated from high school together. I am so happy for Jake & Gina. Parenthood really seems to suit them. We were excited that they finally moved back home and now they might be moving again! Oh well.....Jake & Gina, thanks for letting me photograph your family! And Happy Birthday to Mrs. Toni Lea, Jake's mom, on Thursday!I LOVE to see parents reading with their babies, that probably has a lot to do with the teacher in me! And what a great book--someone really special must have given it to them! ;)

Mikey's 1st Birthday

Mikey's 1st birthday party was a big to do! Christy had a few of Mikey's favorite things on hand for Mikey or anyone else who wanted some.

I can't believe this guy is already 1 year old (yesterday-sorry I'm a little late on the blogging)!! Little Mr. Mikey was the 1st baby I photographed and I have learned a lot by experiementing on him! It seems like just yesterday that I stopped by the hospital on the way to school to check on the progress of Mikey's arrival and there he was! I arrived just in time to see him brought into the nursery--such a special moment. Now he's 1 year old & we're headed to his birthday party in just a few hours--pictures from the BIG party to come later. Happy Birthday, Mikey! :)

2nd Anniversary

Today is our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Time has really flown by--it seems like we have been together forever, but our wedding day seems like just yesterday. I loved every minute of our wedding day (even though I cried all the way to the airport for our honeymoon)-even our fancy supper of Burger King in the airport in Chicago! I love, love, love our wedding pictures. I remember about 6-7 months after we were married, I took them to our friends' house to look at, and Wesley asked, "When will she stop carrying these around?!"
So, our anniversary blog seemed like the most appropriate time to share some of our wedding pictures!
Our wedding photographer was Brian Cook from Lewisburg. He did my best friends, Jaime's, wedding and Tracy's wedding last year.

Yes, it was an interesting ride!

It has been an amazing 2 years of marriage and I can't wait for the next 102 years! We have been through a lot and are so blessed with wonderful families and a wonderful Christian family. He is so caring and loving and I appreciate him so much. Even if he is moving me off to Johnson City, I still love him! Happy anniversary, Wesley, I love you!!
