Holiday Cards

Jodi and I are getting together this weekend to nail down pricing information and get items ready for the blog and website, but for now.....Click HERE to see some samples. This album includes items other than holiday cards, so keep Jodi in mind for your other stationary needs.

Hodges Sneak Peek

Last Saturday after the Sparkman session, Wesley and I went to visit my parents for a few hours then headed back to Murfreesboro for the Hodges' Family session. Holly emailed and asked about having pictures made for her Christmas card of Christian & Saylor. As it turned out, Sethley and little Jackson, Saylor's nephew, came along for some picture fun too!
Holly, thanks so much for letting me photograph your family! Here's your sneak peek...

I love some momma and baby fun.

Saylor, Jackson, & Sethley

This was Jackson's first photo session. Isn't he precious?!

Christian and Saylor had a fun time exploring Cannonsburg

More pictures to follow soon!

The Sparkman Family

The Sparkmans are family--Skip and my dad are first cousins. Donna emailed me a month or so ago asking about Christmas pictures of the grandkids. Then the parents decided to join in on the fun! It was FREEZING cold last Saturday morning when we had our session at Skip & Donna's house-at the Grandchildren's Pond. The kiddos had on warm sweaters, maybe that's why they were so tough. I wasn't so tough--I couldn't feel my fingers by the time we were through. We had a great time nonetheless and got some sweet images. Sparkmans, here's your sneak peek and slideshow link at the bottom.

Aiden (2), Lily (5), & Sam (1) have grown so much since I saw them last on the 4th of July.
Spence & Sandi were doing their best to get Aiden to smile and Lily was standing behind me doing silly things for him too!

I loved Sam's looks--he was so serious!

We headed inside to swing and get warmed up.

Sweet cousins

We were able to get some grins from Aiden--he was practicing his smile when I arrived, but with the camera appeared, he got a little nervous.

Skipper, Christy, Lily, & Sam

Some of my favorites are the ones of Lily and her daddy.

When we were finished the kids all piled in the dog bed to watch tv. Donna wanted a picture since they do this all of the time.

Sparkmans, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your families!
Enjoy your slideshow.

Holiday Cards

As mentioned in a previous post, I'll be working with my friend, Jodi, of Giving Tree Paperie, to create custom designed cards for the holidays. Jodi and I will be working this week to post some samples of her work along with prices. In addition to these, I am offering standard 4x8 photo cards. Samples of these may be viewed by clicking here.

Emma & Elijah

What fun we had on Halloween afternoon at Allendale Mansion in Kingsport.
Elijah is in my first grade class, his mom, Jodi, is a teacher at our school, and Miss Emma is in 2nd grade. Jodi mentioned about a month ago that she wanted fall pictures for their Christmas cards, so last Wednesday we made it happen. This family has recently moved to Kingsport from Florida and are in the same boat as we are--having a house for sale far away and living somewhere that isn't your own! I have related with Elijah several times as we needed something for school that is in storage (like his favorite book or my cow slippers for a funny dress up day) and getting used to a new school in general. :) He's such a sweet boy.
(Jodi is an amazing card designer--she is going to be making some of our Christmas cards for Skelton Photography. I have some samples of her work that I will be photographing tonight to post on the website and blog-so stay tuned for more information!)
Emma & Elijah are so funny! I think this session is the best one I have done as far as really capturing the essence of the subjectsither that or I just feel that way more because I know them and know that they are fun and silly and goofy-just like these pictures show.
Here's their sneak peek-a few of my favorites-and their slideshow link at the bottom.

Elijah & Emma saw this pile of leaves and DOVE into it-I almost didn't catch it, they were so fast!

Emma was all about having her picture made!

This must be Eli's model pose--it made me laugh so hard, I had to post it!

This picture below pretty much describes the whole afternoon--lots of laughing and funny looks!

This is what happens when you ask if Emma has a boyfriend...

I told Jodi she should use this one for their card and say,
"Emma and Eli love all of the room in our new house!"

My first semi-productive shot at sunflare.....

Thanks for all of the fun, friends! I hope you enjoy your slideshow.
