Mr. & Mrs. Sturgill {Johnson City Tennessee Wedding Photography}

I finally have Candace & Josh's beautiful wedding day ready to blog! I don't know if I wanted to share so many because they have been so patient (May is NOT a good month to get things done if you are a teacher!) or if they are just that fun to share! I tried to choose "a few" & somehow had 40 images in a folder. I have narrowed them down for now; you will just have to watch the slideshow to see the rest!

Candace was my student teacher in the fall-I was so excited that she & Josh allowed us to be a part of their beautiful wedding day! The forecast was for major thunderstorms-I prayed so hard for good weather for pictures & not one raindrop fell until we were leaving the reception! :)

Candace had told me months ago about how much Josh loves Pal's. I was not one bit surprised to see him enjoying Pal's for lunch!

You all know how much I LOVE a First Look. :) Candace & Josh's First Look was extra sweet for a couple of reasons: 1) Candace made sure that no one (besides her parents & photographers!) saw her in her dress until Josh did. 2) Her daddy walked her down to see Josh for the first time.

Brittany & I always snap a few shots & then leave the couple alone for a few moments. Candace & Josh were so sweet-they just smiled huge smiles the whole time!

Handsome Groom

Beautiful Bride

One of my favorites

Another favorite-I think Brittany captured this one.

Might be my favorite from the day :)

I stumbled upon Candace & Josh sneaking a kiss right before the ceremony began.

Thanks to Brittany for this great shot of the girls.

This was our first "flag bearer" wedding. I LOVED it!
(The other side of the flag says "Just Married.")

One of my favorite ring shots ever!

This groomsman-Matt-is going to be a great daddy one day! He was so good with the little boys! This was taken at the Double Tree while we were waiting on the bride & groom to arrive.

Candace & Josh,
*Thanks for allowing us to capture your beautiful day!
*Thanks for being so wonderful to work with!
*Thanks for patiently waiting for your slideshow & gallery!
*Please come back & visit soon! I miss you!
**Enjoy your slideshow!

Mr. & Mrs. Anderson

Rob and Megan were married on a very snow Friday in December. I know the snow made a lot of things difficult, but it was so beautiful and I am sure it will make great stories to tell their children one day! I have decided that the getting ready pictures are always my favorite. :) I think you can tell by how many I am posting.....

I absolutely love this one of Megan and Mrs. Sonya.

I told this Junior Bridesmaid at the reception how cool it is that she got to enjoy this special day by being a part of the wedding party. How cool would that be at this age? :)

I always enjoy seeing what the guys are up do while the girls are getting all dolled up.

I laughed after I took this shot!

The bouquets were beautiful. I loved the special attention to detail that was put into each one.

The wedding was delayed a bit to allow guests to arrive since the roads were so bad. Megan was so calm; she said, "I am leaving here today married!" And she did!

Check the sneak peek and slideshow (link below) for more pictures of Mr. & Mrs. Anderson.

These guys were great at the reception. They had to really work to make up for their missing band member who couldn't get out of his driveway, but they were so fun!

Mr. Jamie gave the sweetest speech and said the sweetest things to Megan. I was almost crying by the time he was finished.

Too cold and icy to do the rose petal departure outside, so we did it inside the Carnegie Hotel and then cleaned it right up!

Snowy, snowy night.

Megan and Rob, thanks for letting us document your special day! Many best wishes for a long and happy future. Enjoy your slideshow. The full gallery will be available early this week.
On a personal note, I want to think all of my sweet friend and family who kept checking on us throughout the night to make sure we were safe while traveling from the ceremony to reception and home. We are very blessed!

Snow Fun

Friday night we received a BUNCH of snow in the Tri-Cities area. Thankfully, Brittany and I were able to safely travel from Megan and Rob's wedding to their reception and then home. We really realized how blessed we were Saturday afternoon as we drove down I-26 and saw about 100 cars on the sides of the road in a 15 mile stretch! Brittany brought Tommy and Leah with her in case she got snowed in, so we got to play and have a lot of fun Saturday morning! You can see a LOT more on my Facebook album.

Mr. & Mrs. Marshall {Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Wedding Photography}

Brittany & I had a great time at Laura & Zac's wedding two weeks ago. Here's their final sneak peek and slideshow link at the bottom!

I had a great getting ready image here, but it would not get big like I wanted it to-I guess you will have to watch the slideshow!

Laura & Zac were awesome. Two main reasons they were awesome: 1) They were calm, cool, and collected the entire day. Nothing fazed them. They forgot the cd for the ceremony music & Laura said, "I don't care. I'm just ready to get married!" I think I was more upset about it than she was! :) I told her we should at least hum or something! 2) They gave us a TON of time for pictures of just them! We had the entire time between ceremony and reception AND we even borrowed them during the reception. It was awesome!

Beautiful bride!

Handsome groom!

A new favorite.

Poor Zac was all worried about his smile-this is a new absolute favorite! Do they look models or WHAT?! :)

Thanks to Britt for this shot.

Zac is the best uncle-he fed those kids brownies all night! I am sure their parents appreciated that. That's what uncles are for!

The favors were amazingly, delicious brownies. I can taste 'em right now!

Laura & Zac, best wishes for a long & happy marriage! Thanks for being so awesome.
Enjoy your slideshow!
