Cameron & Family {Johnson City, TN, Lifestyle Family Photography}

I had a great time hanging out with Cameron and his family last week. Cameron turned 2 years old yesterday and his baby brother is expected in just about a month! I can't wait to meet Baby Carson! For now, enjoy Mr. Cameron and his "Green John Deere" fun.

Fun fishing :)

We went for a walk in their neighborhood to fish and enjoy the waterfall. It was gorgeous!

Super fun times hanging out in Cameron's Big Boy Room! This is a new favorite image for me.

Then, we went in Baby Carson's nursery to read some books. Cam had this book about tractors and trucks and he could name every kind: excavator, dump truck, Green John Deere, garbage truck, etc.

I LOVE this one of Katy & Cameron.

Riding in his car to CVS!

I love Fridge Phonics!

I LOVE this one of Cam & Travis. So sweet!

Thanks for letting me hang out with your family! I can't wait to meet Baby Carson. For now, enjoy your slideshow.

Sneak Peek-Cameron

It's the last day of school-WHOO HOO! :) In celebration (and because I got up at 5:30 am to spend a few 5th Anniversary minutes with Wesley before he left for the day), here are a few images for Katy and Travis. I can't wait to finish the rest and share with you! Happy Friday!

Fishing with Daddy-gotta catch supper!

Loving on Baby Carson in Mommy's belly!
I am sure Wesley would like Cam to come mow our yard!
(I just realized I used an ! at the end of every sentence-it's the last day of school-I'm super pumped!!!!)

Spring Formal 2010

We enjoyed this year's Spring Formal. There were nearly 30 young people in attendance. The decorations, food, and activities were great! Enjoy the slideshow above (give it a little bit to load) or click HERE to view it full screen! You can access the full gallery from the slideshow window.

Mr. & Mrs. Sturgill {Johnson City Tennessee Wedding Photography}

I finally have Candace & Josh's beautiful wedding day ready to blog! I don't know if I wanted to share so many because they have been so patient (May is NOT a good month to get things done if you are a teacher!) or if they are just that fun to share! I tried to choose "a few" & somehow had 40 images in a folder. I have narrowed them down for now; you will just have to watch the slideshow to see the rest!

Candace was my student teacher in the fall-I was so excited that she & Josh allowed us to be a part of their beautiful wedding day! The forecast was for major thunderstorms-I prayed so hard for good weather for pictures & not one raindrop fell until we were leaving the reception! :)

Candace had told me months ago about how much Josh loves Pal's. I was not one bit surprised to see him enjoying Pal's for lunch!

You all know how much I LOVE a First Look. :) Candace & Josh's First Look was extra sweet for a couple of reasons: 1) Candace made sure that no one (besides her parents & photographers!) saw her in her dress until Josh did. 2) Her daddy walked her down to see Josh for the first time.

Brittany & I always snap a few shots & then leave the couple alone for a few moments. Candace & Josh were so sweet-they just smiled huge smiles the whole time!

Handsome Groom

Beautiful Bride

One of my favorites

Another favorite-I think Brittany captured this one.

Might be my favorite from the day :)

I stumbled upon Candace & Josh sneaking a kiss right before the ceremony began.

Thanks to Brittany for this great shot of the girls.

This was our first "flag bearer" wedding. I LOVED it!
(The other side of the flag says "Just Married.")

One of my favorite ring shots ever!

This groomsman-Matt-is going to be a great daddy one day! He was so good with the little boys! This was taken at the Double Tree while we were waiting on the bride & groom to arrive.

Candace & Josh,
*Thanks for allowing us to capture your beautiful day!
*Thanks for being so wonderful to work with!
*Thanks for patiently waiting for your slideshow & gallery!
*Please come back & visit soon! I miss you!
**Enjoy your slideshow!

Mr. & Mrs. Hobbs Part 2 {Johnson City Tennessee Wedding Photography}

I told you there would be more blog posts from Doug and Elizabeth's big day! Here is the "Getting Ready" Post. :) The getting ready images are almost always my favorites. Everyone is so excited about the big day and it really shows.

The image below is Elizabeth's sister, Alisa, sewing on one of Elizabeth's wedding gowns. I LOVED how resourceful the Doan family is! There were alterations being made in the hour or so before we started pictures-and not with a safety pin or tape (which is how I would alter something!)-they used real needle and thread! Wesley asked me, "Did that make you wish you could sew?" I won't tell you what my answer was. :)
If you were paying attention earlier, I said "one of Elizabeth's wedding gowns." Yep, she had TWO. What a lucky girl! Elizabeth's grandfather wanted one of the granddaughters to wear her grandmother's wedding dress. She had dreamed of wearing the dress for years, so they were pretty nervous last month when the gown was nowhere to be found. They found it two days (I think) before we did her bridal session! It was in a dry cleaner bag in a box! I was so amazed with how beautiful and well preserved the dress was. Elizabeth's mother and aunt also wore the dress on their wedding days. At the reception, there was a table with pictures of each bride wearing the dress and the story (written by Elizabeth) of the dress.

Chantilly lace. :)While the grown-ups were hustling and bustling around getting ready, the ring bearer and flower girl were taking care of what was most important......PLAYING!

The "booster seat" cracked me up!

Elizabeth's mom crocheted beautiful shawls for each of the girls. They were amazing.

Sisters, mom, and aunt help ready the beautiful bride.
Hope you enjoyed Part 2.
More to come!
