Mannienewt -- The Pocket Squirrel

I just read an enjoyable blog post by my good friend, Kristy, about Mannienewt the Pocket Squirrel. You should go enjoy it as well.
I also find it funny that our other friend, Shane, designed this t-shirt in memory of Mannienewt.
Hope you enjoy! Happy Thursday!
In case you didn't know, this is Ryder showing off Mannienewt (he's in Ryder's hand, silly!).

Cameron & Family {Johnson City, TN, Lifestyle Family Photography}

I had a great time hanging out with Cameron and his family last week. Cameron turned 2 years old yesterday and his baby brother is expected in just about a month! I can't wait to meet Baby Carson! For now, enjoy Mr. Cameron and his "Green John Deere" fun.

Fun fishing :)

We went for a walk in their neighborhood to fish and enjoy the waterfall. It was gorgeous!

Super fun times hanging out in Cameron's Big Boy Room! This is a new favorite image for me.

Then, we went in Baby Carson's nursery to read some books. Cam had this book about tractors and trucks and he could name every kind: excavator, dump truck, Green John Deere, garbage truck, etc.

I LOVE this one of Katy & Cameron.

Riding in his car to CVS!

I love Fridge Phonics!

I LOVE this one of Cam & Travis. So sweet!

Thanks for letting me hang out with your family! I can't wait to meet Baby Carson. For now, enjoy your slideshow.

Sneak Peek-Cameron

It's the last day of school-WHOO HOO! :) In celebration (and because I got up at 5:30 am to spend a few 5th Anniversary minutes with Wesley before he left for the day), here are a few images for Katy and Travis. I can't wait to finish the rest and share with you! Happy Friday!

Fishing with Daddy-gotta catch supper!

Loving on Baby Carson in Mommy's belly!
I am sure Wesley would like Cam to come mow our yard!
(I just realized I used an ! at the end of every sentence-it's the last day of school-I'm super pumped!!!!)

Reynolds Family {Johnson City, Tennessee Lifestyle Family Photography}

Sessions like this are my absolute favorite! I LOVE when families just do their thing and let me come hang out! I was there 2 hours before I even realized it! The Reynolds Family and I had a great time on Saturday. Leslie had been doing a snow dance in hopes of getting snow for their session again this time. The dance worked, but I don't think she danced quite long enough! :) We were glad to have some snow though-this is what Tennessee snow looks like!

Before we went outside, Cooper and Bryan were hanging out in the living room. This is the look of a "caught" daddy. Coop had just said, "I KNOW I'm getting a bicycle in a box cause I saw it in your room! I DID!" Bryan and I tried convincing him that he's just getting old and seeing things, but I don't know that it worked....
Brylee was so funny outside! The family was throwing snow balls......tiny ones because of the amount of snow of course! Brylee would run as fast as she could and hide behind me and say, "They're gonna get me!"

We went inside to dance and play in Brylee's room.....

......then read in Cooper's room.....

They love to pile up on Cooper's bed and read together each night. So sweet!

Leslie's parents were there for fun too! They all played the game Elefun. I have seen it in stores but have never seen it played. It was pretty cute!

Bryan and Leslie decided it would be fun to let the kiddos open one present each. Of course it was fun! Cooper got Hungry, Hungry Hippos and Brylee got a doll. I love the realness of this image. As soon as the presents are open there is assembly required or some tricky moves to get the toy out of the package! Real life!

They let Cane out for a bit to play too! He's grown a ton since they first got him last year!

One of my favorite images of the day.

Brylee was my buddy quickly, she hugged and loved on me. She was so sweet!
Bryan & Leslie, thanks for letting me come hang out with your family! Enjoy your slideshow!
I just realized I have an exclamation mark in almost every sentence. Apparently I am excited! :)

A Snowy Sneak Peek

How lucky is this family to get snow on their session day two years in a row? About as lucky as I am to get to take pictures of them in the snow two years in a row! :) Enjoy the sneak peek! More to come soon!

Lucich Family {Lifestyle Family Photography, Murfreesboro Tennessee}

I was at the hospital shortly after this little guy was born. I cannot believe he is this old!! We had a great time staying with Christy, Dave, & Mikey last weekend. It's amazing to see how much Mikey has learned & see what things he plays & does now. We had a great time at their home & then went to a nearby park to play & search for leaves.

Sidewalk chalk is lots of fun!

I love this one of Dave & Mikey holding hands while we walked.
Christy & Dave are both very musical (Dave is a high school band director), so Mikey has no choice but to be musical too! They had written out the notes for Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star & had a paper over the keys with the correct letters. Mikey could play the song! It was amazing! I wasn't able to get pictures of him playing on Saturday, so Sunday morning I grabbed some shots before we left for worship.

When he played the key he would say, "Green F Green F." So cute!

Dave, Christy, & Mikey-we love you!
Enjoy your slideshow!

Maggie's 2nd Birthday Party! {cleveland, tennessee family photography}

How in the world this child is 2 TODAY I do not know. Seriously. July has been a whirlwind for us-2 weeks in Jamaica, back home for 1 night, then went to the beach with our friends (their beach session pics coming soon), then home for 1 night to leave the next day for Maggie's party.
Despite it all, we would not have missed Miss Maggie's 2nd Birthday Party for anything.

When we arrived, Maggie was less than excited about her party. They had to wake her up from her nap for her party and she was NOT happy. And I believe the fun life of being 2 has kicked in-"I don't YIKE cake! I don't want to see ____! I don't want to wear dat!"
About 5 minutes into it all, I snapped into reality and grabbed my camera.
After I took this picture, I said, "Maggie, you're going to LOVE this picture when you are 16!" :)
It was amazing moment when Maggie saw her party decorations and balloons. A new child had appeared. :) "Yook! Butterflies, balloons!"

And we were ready for a party!

Before her party, if you asked Maggie what would happen at the party, she would say, "Cake, pwesents, and my fwiends will be dere!"

Oh how I love this boy. How is Ryder this big?! His 2nd birthday is coming up soon!

LOVE her!

This cracks me up. Jonie said, "I think she's used to having her picture taken." No, really, I don't know why! :)

Right after this, Maggie informed me the concrete was too hot and now she DID want shoes on.

Last Sunday I almost didn't recognize Carter. He has gotten so big!

For someone who doesn't "yike" cake, she sure ate a lot!

Sharing with Papa.

As soon as Maggie opened this present, she started trying to put the dress on. She even gave Jana one (see in the background)!

Someone who really loves Maggie gave her a camera. (Wonder who?!) We need to work on her photography skills. She's looking in the wrong end!

That's better.

After all of the presents were open, it was time to play with them all!
Sweet Camden!

Last year at the end of the party, Maggie laid down right on the garage floor and I got a picture.
This year, she laid down in the chair Uncle Wese and Aunt Nise gave her.

Ohhh, Birthday Kisses from Camden!

And something VERY important to tell Ryder (although we were all laughing so hard we have no idea what she said).

And Birthday Hugs from Ryder-this is how he hugs, by turning his head and leaning into you!

A wonderfully fun party!
Maggie Skelton, we love you so much and can't believe you are already 2!
Enjoy the slideshow!
