Mannienewt -- The Pocket Squirrel

Timothy Ryan

Wesley & I were so excited to get to visit with several friends during our Middle Tennessee trip for my birthday/Father's Day. We were excited to meet little Timothy Ryan on Friday evening! We had a super quick photo session, went to eat at Demo's (YUUUUMMMM!) with other friends, then went back to visit with Dave & Christy before driving to my parents' house. Whew. What a long day, but it was worth it!

Mikey was so excited to show off what he called "My Baby!"
The hat Timothy is wearing here was knitted by his Nana.

Christy loves his little swirl in his hair. It is pretty cute.

I asked Mikey what he liked about Timothy. His immediate response, "HIS HAT!" Christy then told Mikey to tell me what Timothy did that day that he liked. Mikey informed me that Timothy said his name, "He just said Mikey, not my Michael name." :) He is very advanced for a two day old baby!
I knitted the hat in the picture below for Timothy. I was afraid it wasn't going to fit! It worked for these pictures, but I'm not sure it will fit much longer.

Christy & Timothy were fresh home from the hospital.
They got home around 4:30-we got there around 6:30.

Sweet Baby Boy! {Lifestyle Family Photographer Tennessee}

Wesley and I drove to Middle Tennessee for my birthday/Father's Day weekend. We made a stop in Murfreesboro first to visit our friends, eat at Demo's, and meet a new sweet baby boy!

THIS is what a Big Brother looks like! Mikey is pretty much SUPER PUMPED! Can you tell?!

Someone who really, really loves Timothy made him this hat (ahem.....that'd be me!).
I LOVE this picture and had to share this tonight (well, this morning...) before I go to bed.

Richard & JeannaLynn {Johnson City, TN Photography}

Since the Mays were in town for Brittney's Senior Session, we decided to do a few shots of Richard & JeannaLynn for their website.
I love these two images of the three of them.....we just needed Brad! He was in Mexico on a mission trip, but I'm sure that when he sees these he will decide he will want pictures too! Maybe they will all come back and visit this summer (hint, hint!)??? :)

This next image is very "Richard & JeannaLynn" I think. They are wonderful marriage helpers & I am thankful that we have them in our life! They look pretty happy, don't you think?
(This shot took FOREVER because I was standing on the other side of the road and very nice motorists kept wanting to let me cross the road.......I didn't really need to cross the road. :) )

LOVE you guys VERY much! We enjoyed our much too short visit.

Brittney-Senior Session {Johnson City Photography}

Brittney and her parents drove all the way from Oklahoma for her senior session! Well, maybe they came to visit too......They are good friends of our family and we were so glad to get to visit with them and document this stage of Brittney's life!

We roamed around Jonesborough last week and had a fun time.
Look at this-can you be any more photogenic than this? I think not.

Jamaica Fun

Things have been SOOO super busy that I have not been able to post more pictures from our mission trip to Jamaica. I wish I had time to show you every picture and tell you the story that goes with it, but I don't (and I have a feeling you wouldn't sit here that long!). What's the next best thing to a blog post?? Duncans Go to the Beach!

Two days after we returned from Jamaica, Wesley & I packed up & headed to the beach! :) We went to Emerald Isle, NC, so our friends-The Duncans-could have beach pictures & so we could have a few days of relaxation.
We went out on Tuesday to try to get some pictures & things didn't go so well. The sun was too bright & kids weren't interested. So, we gave up (after Wesley's feet & legs were ROASTED) & went back the next morning at about 6:30 (Wesley stayed in bed!).

The first three are from Round 1, the rest are from Round 2. :)
