Richard & JeannaLynn {Johnson City, TN Photography}

Since the Mays were in town for Brittney's Senior Session, we decided to do a few shots of Richard & JeannaLynn for their website.
I love these two images of the three of them.....we just needed Brad! He was in Mexico on a mission trip, but I'm sure that when he sees these he will decide he will want pictures too! Maybe they will all come back and visit this summer (hint, hint!)??? :)

This next image is very "Richard & JeannaLynn" I think. They are wonderful marriage helpers & I am thankful that we have them in our life! They look pretty happy, don't you think?
(This shot took FOREVER because I was standing on the other side of the road and very nice motorists kept wanting to let me cross the road.......I didn't really need to cross the road. :) )

LOVE you guys VERY much! We enjoyed our much too short visit.
Hope you enjoy your slideshow.

Candace & Josh

Candace was my student teacher in the fall. I will be documenting Candace & Josh's big day in April. Josh came into town recently for their wedding shower and Valentine's Day. Of course, we made some time for a session! I LOVE when my couples get all decked out for a session! Josh wore his Navy uniform since he won't be wearing it at the ceremony in April and he even brought Candace some flowers. :) Love it!

I am totally in love with all of these! :)

Congratulations, guys! I can't wait til the big day in April! Enjoy your slideshow!

Katy & Matt: In Love

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas & New Year! I had intended to do a lot more blogging during my holiday break. Today is my last day off from school and I just realized I didn't get any of that done! But, I had lots and lots of family, friends, and Miss Maggie time, so I guess it's okay. :)

Katy and Matt are good friends of ours from East Side. Interestingly enough, Katy and I went to National 4H Congress together my senior year of high school. Then, Wesley and I started dating and I found out that she and Wesley were friends during high school as well. Isn't it a small world?! Thankfully, Katy and Matt have now returned to Cleveland and we get to see a lot more of them these days (well, these days that we are actually in Cleveland!).
Katy is very talented in the area of interior design and she stopped by the family farm last week to help us decide what to do with Wesley's Mamaw's house (that needs to be completely re-done!). After she spent so much time with us, I told her she and Matt needed a session!
I don't think married couples have pictures made of them often enough "just because."
Hopefully, Katy and Matt are the first of many "In Love" Sessions for 2009.

Whew. That was a super long intro (maybe my break from blogging has made me long-winded!).
On to some pictures!!

I met Katy and Matt at their family farm on New Years Day. They are building a house on the lot with this awesome, old barn.

This next one is my FAVORITE!

They are SO FUN and are SUCH a CUTE couple!

Right in front of where the new house will be...

I am pretty partial to these next two as well.

Katy and Matt, Thanks for your friendship, your house designing help, and being the first of my "In Love" sessions! I hope you enjoy your SLIDESHOW.

Blog readers, stay tuned for a re-cap of 2008 and our holiday fun!
xoxo

Friends

Richard and JeannaLynn are close friends of our family. They mean so much to us and have helped us in so many different ways. Richard and JeannaLynn are Dean & Martha's best friends and worked with the church at East Side several years ago.
When Wesley's Mamaw passed away, Richard and their son Brad drove to Cleveland from a wedding in Kentucky and JeannaLynn flew in from their home in Oklahoma.
Even though it was for a funeral, we were so glad to get to see them again.
While they were visiting with us, JeannaLynn was telling me about the classes she's taking to be a life coach. As part of her class, she has to make a website for herself. You know what my first thought was, "You need a picture!" As our conversation continued, we discussed the marriage enrichment ministry that Richard and JeannaLynn have with their church in Yukon. They are in the process of updating their website. So, of course, they needed pictures for that!

Dean & Martha have some beautiful places to take pictures at their home, so one HUMID morning we had a fun little session.
Richard & JeannaLynn, you mean so much to our family.
I hope these are "good enough" (HA!) for you to use. Lots of Love, Denise

JeannaLynn is not a fan of having her picture made, but she did a great job!
Isn't she beautiful?

Richard also need a headshot for speaking engagements, etc.

As I was processing these images, I told Wesley, "The pictures of them separately are good, but the ones of them together are great!"
How sweet.

A fun fact about the May family-they always match-always........I tried and Wesley will have no part in that, oh well.......

And we had to get a good one of the four friends. I love this one.
